Join Jennifer, Liz and Katherine for a 4 day retreat that combines flowers, yoga & horses.
Did you know that a horses heart is 5 times larger than a human heart and beats 3 times slower. You will get a chance to resolve, release and restore around our horses! We will spend time understanding the magic of our equine friends.
During our retreat there is time to have contact with the horses; being close to a warm, big hearted horse is very healing. When the time is right for the contact with them, it is a delightful experience.
FEEL is an experiential form of learning during which the horse acts as a partner in the process of self-discovery and self improvement. (FEEL - Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning)
Yoga will be enlivening and easeful; we will cultivate presence in our bodies, balancing strength and softness and integrate some playful exploration of movement and shape. We will explore various myofascial release techniques as well as the oscillating movements of the Tensegrity Repair Series - great for settling the nervous system, joint mobility and core connection.
Liz’s approach to yoga uses simple but interesting movements as a practice of mindfulness and connection to ourselves and the world.
Come and immerse yourself in the world of flowers on the farm. We have been growing organic cut flowers on the farm for decades and have many long standing favourites that you can play with while on retreat.
The extensive perennial gardens and wild spaces on the farm can be woven into your creations. You will have the opportunity to be in the world of flowers and creativity.
Jennifer has been tending the land for over 25 years - both in the flower gardens and in the vegetable garden. She has a passion for all plants and can spend hours working with flowers. She loves the colours, shapes, smells and will sure to inspire you to have your own relationship with flowers.
