Monday Vijnana Yoga

Classes will follow the Vijnana yoga forms including seated practice, pranayama and asana. Classes will include some of the Tensegrity Repair Series, inversions as well as more playful explorations of movement and shape. We will explore themes that cultivate an inner awareness while being curious about experiencing joy and ease in practice. This is a mixed level class, everybody welcome.

Tuesday Yoga

Gay is skilled at teaching each student individually and has special interest in Yoga as a therapeutic tool. Her classes accommodate all levels of experience. Gay combines yoga poses, breathing, chanting, philosophy, plus a healthy dose of humour to create her unique style of yoga. Gay has been teaching yoga for over 30 years.

Wednesday Tensegrity & Vijnana Yoga

Classes will focus on the therapeutic qualities of the Tensegrity Repair Series, playful movement and some traditional asana forms. We will spend time on the floor exploring movement through oscillating movements that work on the fascial web of the body restoring it’s elasticity and fluid quality. We will cultivate the seven vital principles of Vijnana yoga through movement and breath practices that focus on ease. Everybody welcome.

Thursday Light-Up Your Winter Yoga

This is a 9 week course. The classes will joyfully alternate between yoga & movement classes designed to light you up over the darker months. Guaranteed to lift your spirits!

  1. Hatha Flow Yoga - strong, stretchy & sweet yoga to sweet melodies 

  2. Kundalini Yoga Dance Class - vibrant class using powerful breath coupled with dynamic, fun movements and dancing

Level: All-levels classes. Some experience is helpful for the yoga class but Kundalini is suitable for complete beginners.
